This is music with character: sometimes defiant, sometimes gentle, sometimes unsure but always moving. Whether its the sharp funk of Come and Get It or the reflective mist of Morning Drizzle, each track paints its own shade, telling stories without saying a word. Story behind the song
With this tune the percussion shaped the result. I created the bass line to fit around the the drum pattern. After adding the rhythm guitar stabs the sense of space appeared and all I could see was a moody blues solo. The guitar line here was recorded in one take and was version 3. This one for me just caught the mood.
